Timewise Jobs is a jobs board specialising in part-time jobs and roles that are open to flexibility, for people with skills and experience.

It’s our belief that quality part-time jobs, and the high calibre candidates needed to fill them, are invisible in the traditional recruitment market.

What sort of jobs can you advertise on Timewise Jobs?

  • We define ‘quality jobs’ as those with a full-time-equivalent basic salary of £16,000 or more.
  • ‘Part-time’ can mean any combination of days or hours up to 32 hours per week.
  • 'Open to flexibility' means a full time job where the employer is genuinely open to the role being worked in fewer hours or partly from home, for the right candidate.
  • We welcome jobs from employers across a wide range of business sectors and role types.

Who are our candidates?
We have an active database of over 70,000 candidates, all looking for flexible opportunities where they can use their skills. More than 90% of them have at least 5 years' work experience, over 65% at a managerial level or in a professional capacity.

How long have we been in business?

Our story began in 2005 when our founders, Karen Mattison MBE and Emma Stewart, CEO, MBE, identified the gap in the recruitment market for quality part-time jobs. They set up Women Like Us in London, which became hugely successful at supporting women to find work that fitted with family.

They then launched Timewise Jobs in April 2012, in recognition of the fact that flexible working is not just a women’s issue. It is attractive to many sectors of society – people developing portfolio careers and people approaching retirement, to name just two. 

Our aim now is to make ‘quality part-time jobs’ easily accessible, across all business sectors and throughout the UK. We want to make all jobs that are open to flexibility more visible to candidates.
